Oxford Community Church took full advantage of the catalogue of postponements due to frost, with a 1-0 win over Beckley Sports taking them top for the first time.
Crispin Angood provided the cross for Matt Wilton to convert, after defences had dominated for most of the game.
East Oxford also started the New Year well, winning 2-0 at home to Nuffield Arms with a goal in each half.
Chris Greenaway and Glen Felix were the scorers.
