An initiative gets under way next week to bring learning classes out into the villages around Burford.
The Oxfordshire Rural Learners' Project is visiting Filkins Village Hall to canvass local interest. The launch meeting is on Thursday at 7pm. Suggested courses are in computer skills, keep fit, first aid and parenting.
A free computer taster session will be held at the hall on Friday, January 25, from 10am to 1pm. The outreach project uses the staff and resources of Burford Community College and brings them to outlying communities.
