Sadie Paris, a former pupil of Burford Community College and Henry Box School, Witney, was runner-up in the PR Week Young PR Person of the Year 2001 competition.
Miss Paris, originally from Clanfield, was nominated for the award after starting her public relations and marketing firm, Bubble and Squeak, at 26. The firm has offices in London and Los Angeles.
More than 400 people were nominated for the award.
