Staff and families at RAF Benson who gave 14 bags of groceries to be distributed among day centres run by Oxfordshire Age Concern have been officially thanked.
RAF policeman Cpl Roy Duncan, who co-ordinated the effort, said: "We are delighted to know there were people in the local area who had a brighter Christmas thanks to the generosity of personnel stationed at Benson.
