The deadline for Cherwell constituents to be registered to vote in May's local elections is looming.
Changes in election rules mean the district council now runs a rolling register, which makes it easier for residents to be added to the list. But the cut-off point is Tuesday.
Postal voting is now available to everyone. Previously only those who had a valid reason, such as being on holiday, could vote by post.
An application form is available from the council. It gives three options -- voting in just one election by post; voting by post for a certain period or to vote by post for an indefinite period. Postal votes must be handed in to Cherwell District Council's offices by April 24.
Because of a recent ward review, all seats are up for re-election this year.
The district, which covers much of north Oxfordshire, including Banbury, Bicester and Kidlington, will be represented by 50 councillors instead of 52, each representing on average 2.065 people.
