Colin Wills doesn't mind being called Crazy. To him, it's a term of friendship because to music fans he is Crazy Cactus -- the organiser of Banbury's annual Blues Festival.
The ninth festival is at The Mill next Saturday, March 9, and is a sell-out. Top of the bill is the Michael Hill Blues Mob from South Bronx, New York.
Colin said the name Crazy Cactus was "a steal" from his son who organised a rave called that at Magdalen College School, Brackley, about eight years ago. The event was cancelled but Colin adopted the name.
After being made redundant from Kraft Foods in March, Colin said he planned to run the Blues Festival twice a year from now on.
