Furniture designer Nicholas Pryke has won a commission to provide art works at a new housing development.
Mr Pryke will produce a range of pieces, including outdoor seating, at the former G-Plan factory in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.
He was selected by a panel from McLean Homes, Wycombe District Council, and Artpoint.
Ruth Charity, of Artpoint, a regional public arts commissioning agency, said: "This is a wonderful opportunity to develop a project which would both celebrate Wycombe's history as a centre of furniture making, and demonstrate the best of contemporary furniture design."
Mr Pryke has also refurbished La Gousse d'Ail restaurant in north Oxford and the exterior and lobby of the Royal Oxford Hotel.
