Thomas the Tank Engine steams back to Didcot this weekend.
Immortalised in the children's books by the late Rev Wilbert Awdry, Thomas will be in steam at Didcot Railway Centre from tomorrow March 1 until Sunday March 3.
With his Great Western friends, Thomas will be giving rides on the centre's trains under the careful supervision of The Fat Controller, Sir Topham Hatt.
On Saturday and Sunday there will be plenty of extra activities for the children, including a Punch and Judy show, face painting and story readings, beginning at 10am.
