NORTH Leigh manager Mark Gee is hoping their Oxfordshire Senior Cup heroics against Oxford City in midweek will inspire his side to the Cherry Red Records Hellenic League Premier Division title, writes KIEREN BUSHNELL.

With ten games to go, the title is still in North Leigh's hands, and a buoyant Gee believes the 2-0 victory against City will prove a big boost for the championship run-in.

"The City game was the hardest that we've worked for months," Gee said. "We need to produce the same work ethic for the rest of our league games, and if we do that, I'm sure we will be in there at the end of the season," he said.

Jamie Jackson and Gary Wright return to the squad for the home clash with Bishops Cleeve tomorrow, but Sean Bott is rested, while Matty Gorman may get a game in the reserves.

Abingdon United have re-signed prolific striker Carl Henry from AFC Newbury, and he goes straight into the squad for the trip to Yate Town. Abingdon have also snapped up army player Eddie Stephenson from Chippenham Town. Striker Adam Hamp is unavailable.

Marcus McGillycuddy, Paul Hammond and Stuart Cresswell are unavailable for Bicester Town as they continue their relegation battle at home to Wootton Bassett Town. However, Lee Smith and Stuart Fox return from illness.

Mark Threlfall and Pete Moss (hamstring) face fitness tests as Carterton Town travel to Cirencester Acad- emy.
