A Bicester Army chef has had no complaints about his cooking -- in fact, it is world class.

Regimental Catering Warrant Officer Mark Roberts, 36, who is based at St David's Barracks, is a member of the UK tri-service team, made up of the top Navy, Army and RAF chefs.

The team recently won a gold and three silver medals, plus an overall team silver, at Le Salon Culinaire International de Londres contest, held at Earls Court, beating forces teams from the US, Russia and Canada.

In November they are off to the world cup in Luxembourg.
