A 20-year-old man died in hospital after he lost control of his car as he drove to work, an inquest heard.
Jason Hooper, of Kingfisher Green, Greater Leys, Oxford, was travelling to Woodstock when his Ford Fiesta collided with a lamp-post, near the Peartree interchange. The accident happened at around 8.45pm on November 27 last year.
Mr Hooper was taken to Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital, but later died from serious internal injuries.
Dr Ian Roberts, a consultant pathologist at the John Radcliffe Hospital, said a post mortem examination showed no evidence that Mr Hooper was under the influence of alcohol or drugs when the accident happened.
Pc Stephen Moffat, of the Thames Valley Police accident investigation unit, said there was nothing to suggest Mr Hooper was breaking the speed limit, or that any other vehicles were involved.
Coroner Nicholas Gardiner recorded a verdict of accidental death.
