THE choir of New College, Oxford, has joined forces with the Academy of Ancient Music, directed by Edward Higginbottom, to record a CD of choral music written for English coronations in the 17th and 18th centuries.
The CD, which includes Handel's Zadok the Priest and Purcell's I Was Glad, is being released on May 6, to celebrate the Queen's Golden Jubilee.
