Paddington Station will be closed on Sunday, May 5, due to engineering work.
As a result, all Thames Trains services to and from London will start and terminate at Ealing Broadway.
The number of trains operating will be reduced as Ealing Broadway does not have the same capacity.
Jonathan Radley, communications manager for Thames Trains, said: "We would like to apologise in advance to our customers for any inconvenience.
"I hope they will appreciate that it is important that Railtrack is able to undertake engineering work in the Paddington area.
"Traditionally, this Sunday is a relatively quiet day for Thames Trains, as we find that most people travel on Saturday and Bank Holiday Monday."
Rail customers should make their own arrangements for travel in London to Ealing Broadway by London bus services or London Underground.
