Scouts and guides will be celebrating St George's Day with a parade through Cowley, Oxford.
Last year, 750 young people and their leaders took part in the parade and a similar number is expected this year. The parade will take place on Sunday, April 21, leaving the main entrance of Florence Park at 2.30pm, marching via Florence Park Road, Church Cowley Road, Between Towns Road and Barns Road.
The Lord Mayor of Oxford, Peter Moss, has been invited to take the salute.
A service will be held in Templars Square shopping centre, followed by music from members of the Oxford Gang Show.
A collection will be held in aid of Douglas House, the proposed hospice for young adults.
