A shock defeat for North Leigh's title rivals Gloucester United at Highworth last night means that the west Oxfordshire club will clinch the Hellenic League Premier Division title if they beat Shortwood United this evening at Eynsham Park.
Gloucester, who play Abingdon United tomorrow in their final game, were beaten 5-2 by struggling Highworth Town. It leaves North Leigh with a two-point lead, both contenders having one game left.
Witney United's new manager Ian Feaver will answer supporters' questions at the club's monthly meeting tonight at the Palace Club (7.30).
