A jury has retired to reach its verdict in the case of two men accused of taking part in a series of armed robberies against women on the streets of Oxford.
Slimane Benhalilou, 38, of Jane Seaman Court, Blackbird Leys, Oxford, and Ian James, 50, of Nightingale Avenue, Blackbird Leys, both deny two charges of robbery and one of attempted robbery.
Oxford Crown Court has heard the pair's co-accused, Tessa Ryan, 23, claim Benhalilou drove her around in his van while James sat in the passenger seat, selecting women for her to rob at knifepoint.
Ryan has pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery and one of attempted robbery.
