A 12-year-old boy has been attacked in two separate incidents as he walked to and from school in Oxford.

Three boys, aged between 10 and 11, assaulted the victim as he walked through Raleigh Park in Yarnell's Hill, Botley, while on his way to school on Thursday, April 24.

Two of the boys held him down, while the other one searched his rucksack and demanded money.

The offenders ran off when they were disturbed by a member of the public.

The same victim was attacked again by two boys in the same area as he walked home at around 3.20pm on Monday.

Pc Johnny Hugues, Botley area beat officer, said: "It's believed the two offenders of this attack were from the previous incident."
