Rail passengers across Oxfordshire are facing disruption this Bank Holiday weekend as Railtrack carries out maintenance work.
Services to Oxford have been hit. Buses are being used to ferry passengers.
Railtrack is carrying out the work now because fewer people travel by train over a Bank Holiday weekend. Thames Train spokesman Jonathan Radley said: "We would like to apologise to our customers for any inconvenience."
Routes affected include the Stratford- upon-Avon to London service and the Hereford to London service. The Bicester to Bristol service is also facing timetable alterations. There will also be delays tomorrow as Paddington station in London will be closed.
