Thame's Amnesty International group members are inviting people to join them for a 30-minute vigil to remember victims of torture.
The vigil, on June 26 between 7.30pm and 8pm, will be held by the group's new trellis in the war memorial gardens in Upper High Street.
Thame group chairman Jeanette Watson said: "People are being tortured all over the world and this will help people remember them and hopefully do something, however small, to stop it."
