Abigail Cullen, who raised £360 to help young cancer sufferers
She raised £360 at Berinsfield pool for Ward 5E at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, to help pay for counselling for young leukaemia and cancer sufferers.
Abigail, 12, of Baldon Lane, Marsh Baldon, said: "I felt fine, so I just went on."
She had to stop swimming at one time because of asthma. But four years ago she got back in the water and has kept up her swimming since.
She said: "I love swimming. I have swimming lessons every Saturday, then go to the pool on Mondays with my mum and brother."
