Top jockey Timmy Murphy will face trial charged with indecently assaulting an air stewardess on a Virgin Airways flight from Tokyo to London's Heathrow airport.
Murphy, who came to prominence as the winner of the Irish National last year, is also accused of being drunk on board an aircraft during the flight on April 14.
Magistrates at Uxbridge yesterday committed Murphy, 22, of Tucker's Road, Faringdon, for trial at Isleworth Crown Court where he is expected to enter a plea to the charges on Tuesday, July 23.
He was granted bail until the trial on condition he surrendered his passport.
