Oxford United chairman Firoz Kassam has admitted there seems little prospect of building a fourth stand at The Kassam Stadium in the immediate future.
Although United were generally pleased with their average attendance of more than 6,000 last season, considering that the team had such a dismal season, such gates are well below what it would take to make building a fourth stand economically viable.
