Tandem wrapped up the Alan Wilmer Cup against Crown, Stadhampton to complete a league and cup double at the Homestyle Furnishing and Morrells Oxford League finals night at Cowley Conservative Club.

Having secured the Premier title, Tandem were on the look-out for the treble, and seemed to be on their way with their Alan Wilmer Cup triumph.

Pete Phillips (10,080) and Ray Sturgess (9,160) gave Tandem a 2-0 lead. However, Crown's Graham Baldwin (8,680) kept his side in the match.

Keith Sheard (9,280) wrapped it up for Tandem by taking the fourth game.

In the Group A Knockout Cup final, Tandem again took on Crown, who once again found themselves behind as Steven Sheard (6,300) took the opening game.

Graham Baldwin (3,310) levelled, but Tandem hit back through Ray Sturgess (8,170).

Ian Moquet (11,940) and Gary Johnson (12,810) wrapped up the last two games to deny Tandem the treble.
