The World Artificial Ski Championships, in conjunction with Wycombe Summit Ltd, will be hosted for the third year running at the Wycombe Summit Ski and Snowboard Centre on Sunday, June 30.

More than 100 entries are expected for the individual slalom race.

This includes one of Austria's top slalom World Cup team members, Mario Matt, who won gold at the Kitzbuhl 2000 slalom.

Austria, New Zealand, Belgium, England, Wales and Scotland will be competing for the world dual slalom title during the afternoon.

Shanna Prince will be defending her world championship title and local interest will be high, with a number of entries already received from the Wycombe Race Club.

These include Sally Bartlett, Anouska Callander, Viv Hazelton, Jack Evans and Daniel Holdaway.

Chemmy Alcott, who represented Great Britain in the 2002 Winter Olympics, hopes to be in the UK to present the medals at the prize giving ceremony.
