There were 124 competitors for this year's Wantage Leisure Centre triathlon, when unseasonably low temperatures did not dampen their spirits.
Some 34 clubs were represented from 22 counties and there was one entry from Toulouse in France.
The overall winner was Steve Brookes of Black Country Triathletes, while the first woman home was Hazel Russell (Edinburgh Triathletes).
In the men's vet category, Phil Gilkes from Team Cherwell retained his second place from last year, while Ian Mackey climbed five places and set a personal best.
Stuart Twinn's efforts were finally rewarded on his fourth attempt as he triumphed in the Super Vet category.
