SOUTH LEAGUE REGIONAL: City of Oxford drew 1-1 at Richings Park in a game that could have gone either way.
It was no surprise when Richings Park took the lead midway through the first half from a rehearsed short corner move.
This ignited City, who attacked well after the goal and, with a little more composure, could have scored three times.
City started the second half in fine fashion, with Andy Small going close to levelling.
The equaliser finally came in the last ten minutes when Paul Scragg slid the ball beautifully under the advancing Richings Park goalkeeper.
Chris Hall and Greg Horn both hit five-timers as City of Oxford 2nd overwhelmed Hendon 2nd 14-0 in the 2nd XI Regional league. Andy Bell (2 and Scott Norris (2) also netted. OTHER SCORES
