Abingdon youngster Ami Measor and her pony, Irish Angel's Delight, have qualified for this week's prestigious Horse of the Year Show, which is being held at the NEC in Birmingham.
Ami MeasorThe 15-year-old took part in a series of qualifiers to earn her place among 24 juniors in the newcomers class at the national equestrian event.
With Sky Sports broadcasting some of the main highlights, it is the biggest event Ami has ever been involved in, and her mum, Pauline, is understandably proud.
"Ami has worked so hard, and has been preparing for this for two years," she said. "It's been a long, hard road for her and her pony - and they certainly deserve to be there."
Ami trains at Blewbury under the expert guidance of Jane Vincent.
Pauline added: "Jane is the top instructor at Blewbury and has been giving Ami half-hour lessons every fortnight - she has done really well with her. I just hope they both perform well on the bigger stage."
