AN Oxford school is offering the chance to learn about fungus.
A guided tour of the grounds of Milham Ford School, Harberton Mead, which is home to many rare species of fungi, is being given by the New Marston Wildlife Group on Sunday, October 20.
Biology teacher Judy Webb, who has spent two years uncovering fungi at the school, will lead the tour from 2pm.
She said: "We want people to have the opportunity to find out all about the different types that are growing locally. We will be uncovering some interesting species, some of which are scarcely found elsewhere in Britain."
