CHRIS Dore hit a four-timer as AFC Oxford eased into the second round of the competition with a 7-2 demolition of Banbury Sunday side Cropredy 7-2.

Riverside's Kingsley Ejidgu slides inSummer signing Dore gave his new team the perfect start with a quick double in the first 20 minutes.

But Cropredy clawed their way back, with a spot kick from Bayley Hillman making it 2-1, before Ian Crocker levelled.

In the second half, Michael Fallon put the Autotype League side back in front at 3-2, and a fine header from Dore made it 4-2 on the hour.

Minutes later, Dore set up a fifth for Andy Brooks. Martin Spencer added a sixth before Dore rounded off a superb display with his fourth at the death.

Thumped

A hat-trick from Brian Barratt helped Forest Hill to a 7-2 win at Mapledurham Cavaliers. Other strikes came from Jamie Barbour (2), James Horseman and Francisco Da Silva.

An Adam Vine treble and a brace from Andrew Wilson helped AFC Vikings to a 5-1 win over Banbury Irish.

Cowley Rovers snatched a late winner as they beat Goring United 3-2 away from home.

Ali Rashid converted from a Paul Jefferies through-ball and Jamie Farrage thumped home a 30-yard volley to give Rovers a 2-0 interval lead, but Goring fought back to level. As the game headed for extra time, a bullet header from Amber Ghulam snatched the tie for Rovers.

Visitors ONS proved much too strong for The George as man-of-the-match Mark Scanes hit four goals in their 8-2 victory.

Gary Rudman grabbed a brace, Nick Goodman and Darren Barber the others. The George continued to battle, Holmes, netting their consolation goals.

North Oxford Conservative Club triumphed over Banbury League Premier Division leaders Dynamo Toby 3-2 in a hard-fought game.

North started slowly, but through persistence led 2-0 with goals from Craig Bloomfield and Gary Chapman. However, missed chances allowed Dynamo to reduce the deficit to 2-1 by half time.

Despite being under constant pressure for the majority of the second half, North broke away with a slick move that culminated in a well-executed goal strike from Gary Chapman.

Dynamo rallied, but could only manage a second from a free kick in the final minutes of the game.
