A spectacular fireworks display lit Oxford's sky on Saturday (October 26)

About 5,000 people flocked to South Park to see the show, organised by Oxford Round Table to raise money for a range of good causes.
Round Table spokesman Adam Jeffrey said it had been a fantastic evening, despite some rain.
He added: "We hope to have raised around £7,500 after costs and would like to thank everyone for their support."
The organisers managed to save £350 by cancelling a private fire engine booked because of fears the event might be affected by the threatened firefighters' strike.
