THE Abingdon-based executive director of the regional Learning and Skills Council, Lynda Purser has been appointed a Visiting Fellow to Kellogg College in Oxford.

Kellogg College was founded in 1990, endowed by the American breakfast cereal company.
The Oxford University college is involved in part-time study and professional development.
College president and director of Oxford University's Department for Continuing Education Geoffrey Thomas said: "The election of Lynda Purser emphasises Kellogg's commitment to lifelong learning, and will provide many opportunities to share expertise between Oxford and the wider community."
Ms Purser said she was delighted with the accolade.
