The success of Wallingford's newest festival has enabled organisers to hand over £3,000 in profits to be shared between four local charity groups.
Organisers brought the spirit of the Wallingford Bunkfest to the cheque presentation at the George Hotel by having folk music, dancing and real ales.
The festival was so successful that plans are already being made for the next one on August 29-31 next year.
The Bunkfest featured folk music in local pubs, in the open air and on the Bunk -- the railway between Wallingford and Cholsey.
The money is to be shared between Island Farm donkey sanctuary at Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, Wallingford Sports Park Trust, the Cholsey and Wallingford Railway group and the British Red Cross.
