OXFORD CITY 1 WEMBLEY 1: City squandered two more Ryman Division 1 North points when Wembley equalised with the last action of Saturday's game at Court Place Farm.

The visitors should have been dead and buried by half-time, but City lost their way after the break.

Jamie Charles and Mark Simms had chances to put City ahead, before they took the lead in the 20th minute.

Steve Hilton saved well from Shaun Wimble, only for John Mitchell to score from the rebound.

Five minutes later, it was nearly 2-0 when Simms's shot beat Hilton, but rattled the far post.

It seemed just a matter of time before City scored again, and Lewis Craker, Andy Smith and Charles all went close before the interval.

With a single goal a poor reward for their dominance, City suddenly found themselves on the receiving end when Lee Jarvis shot over in the 50th minute.

The home side had strong appeals for a penalty waved away on the hour when Charles was upended as he rounded Hilton, but with City's passes going astray, Wembley sensed they were still in with a chance.

With 20 minutes left, City had a warning when after Steve Benbow saved well from Michael Garna and Gary McLanghlin's follow-up hit the bar.

Right at the death, City gave the ball away in their own half and Jason Campbell got the final touch for Wembley's equaliser.
