About 80 people went to a raffle and rock n roll evening, which included an Elvis Presley impersonator, at the Highfield Social Club in George Street, Bicester.
The event was organised by Jimmy Edmonds, 41, of George Street. He said: "I wanted to do something to raise money after I saw a kid walking through town attached to a drip. Some of my friends suffer with cancer and my dad died from it, so I thought it was a good cause."
