Danny Wise celebrates after scoring for Abingdon Town against Kingsbury
Dominating the first 30 minutes, they took a deserved lead, before the visitors hit back just after the break. After that, neither side did enough to win the game.
Dave Tregurtha was just off target with a header from a Chris Potter free-kick, and it was one-way traffic until Town took the lead in the 20th minute.
The architect of the goal was Potter, who cut inside a defender and laid the ball off for Danny Wise to strike home off the far post.
A minute later, Town missed a gilt-edged chance to double their advantage when John McMahon shot over from eight yards.
For the fifth time this season, Abingdon conceded a goal at the start of the second half, Lee Johnson slotting home from close range to make it 1-1.
After that, the game became a bit niggly, but the introduction of youth team player Joe Brewerton almost inspired an Abingdon victory.
Despite being booked for a foul, the youngster showed some nice touches, and with 12 minutes left, he headed just wide from a Matty Hendra free-kick.
McMahon and Tregurtha also had chances late on.
Abingdon: Joshua, Thomas, Harper, Beauchamp, Tregurtha, Hendra, Didcock, Scanes, Wise (Brewerton), McMahon, Potter.
