in business Companies in Bicester are preparing for the town's first business awards, which take place on October 30.
Organisers have already declared the sold-out event a success after 50 firms entered.
The chairman of the judging panel, Colin Skinner, of Barclays Bank, said: "This demonstrates that Bicester is a strong and vibrant business community."
The ceremony is being held at The Great Barn, Upper Aynho Grounds, Aynho. Presentations will be made by ex-athlete Kriss Akabusi, with the event hosted by former TV personality Anne Dawson.
