Residents fear plans for new homes in Oxford will lead to too much traffic and put a strain on sewage systems in the area.
They are opposing a planning application to demolish two houses at Shotover Mound, Spring Lane, Headington Quarry, to make way for 18 flats and 27 car parking spaces.
One objector, Christina Millest, said: "Local residents are concerned that this is going to increase traffic, which will be very dangerous.
"A further anxiety is that it will overload our sewage system, which is already prone to flooding."
Kris Skalka, spokesman for developer, J Atiyah, said: "It is too early for us to comment. We are waiting for responses from highways and environment officials."
