Internet company AOL has lifted a block on e-mails sent by Oxford University staff and students.
AOL imposed the block because of a 'spam'-related issue involving an e-mail, apparently sent from a university address, herald.ox.ac.uk
'Spam' is unwanted e-mail, similar to junk mail.
Staff and students using the university's ox.ac.uk e-mail address had been unable to e-mail anyone with an AOL account.
An AOL spokesman said the issue had been resolved. A university spokesman said: "We're pleased the service is working again."
