James Tatton completed a glorious double as he produced a battling display to beat Karl Walker 4-3 and lift the Oxford & District League's Walt Bradbury Cup in snooker.

James TattonTatton, who has already won the Arthur Goodwin Handicap Cup, started badly, losing the first frame 80-44.

But a 50 break earned him frame two 87-49, before another of 72 saw him recover from 38-3 down to lead 2-1.

Walker made a break of 40 to level the match with an 86-49 victory and he then captured the fifth frame with a 48 clearance to take a 3-2 lead.

Tatton won the sixth 86-49 and in the final frame he compiled a break of 56 before running out of position when leading 56-28.

Walker knocked in a break of 34 to reduce the deficit to 62-56 and he then edged in front 69-56, before Tatton settled matters with a break of 26 to triumph 69-82.

Tatton reached the final after squeezing past Paul Robinson 3-2.

Robinson was struggling when Tatton rattled in a break of 35 to take the first frame 88-46, but he recovered to take the next, despite a 47 break from Tatton.

Robinson then won the third frame, but Tatton seized control in the fourth with a break of 52, before winning the final frame, with a break of 37.

Walker booked his place with a shock 3-2 win over Grant Conquest.

Conquest took the opening frames 83-69 and 72-43, and made a break of 46 in the third, only for Walker's 39 break to win the frame. He then won the next 74-52 to square the match.

Walker went on to take the deciding frame 95-15.
