Four athletes from Team Cherwell Triathlon Club will be treading water among 1,800 other athletes at the World Long Course Triathlon Championships in Ibiza on May 11.
The event incorporates a 4km sea swim, 120km bike ride and a 30km run.
All four athletes are from Banbury, and will form a part of the 100-strong British Age-Group team.
For Paul Sabin, 28, a triathlete for ten years, it will be his first outing in Great Britain colours.
Husband and wife duo Rob and Stephanie Strachan both raced for GB in the 2002 World Championships in Nice.
The fourth member of the team is 35-year-old Calvyn Hobday, who took up triathlon in 1986.
