In last Thursday's Oxford Mail (May 1) we stated that the Vinevard Service Station in Abingdon was selling unleaded petrol at 80.9p a litre. This was incorrect. It was in fact selling the product at 79.9p and has since reduced the price even further.
The BP service station is run by a franchisee who is not obliged to follow strictly BP head office advice in pricing. We apologise for the error.
