Witney & District FA: MInster Lovell lifted the Senior Cup for the first time in their history with a 2-0 victory over Kingham in the final at Marriotts Stadium, Witney.

Roared on by a partisan crowd of nearly 300, Craig Sallis fired Minster in front, before Martin Latimer's strike made the game safe.

The battle for the Premier Division title will go down to the final day of the season after leaders Carterton Town A drew 1-1 with second-placed Brize Norton.

Both sides knew a win would put them into the driving seat, and it was Dan Kearney who put Carterton ahead.

However, after the break Brize scored a deserved equaliser through Lee Brooks.

Brize must pick up four points from their last two games against Minster Lovell and Adlestrop to claim their third title in three years

At the other end of the table, Freeland completed a great escape with a 1-0 win over Minster Lovell, leaving Ducklington to go down following their 3-2 defeat by Kingham.

Andy James netted the goal which gave Freeland a crucial victory.

It meant that Ducklington had to beat Kingham to preserve their Premier Division status, but a last-gasp strike from Matthew Holt sent them crashing to defeat.

Ducklington had led through Paul Neale, but Kingham equalised with Andy Watson's penalty.

Holt put Kingham in front, but Neale equalised ten minutes from time to set up a frantic finale.

Ducklington keeper Luke Glasiter saved Watson's penalty, but Holt's late winner sent Ducklington down.

Bampton fought back from a goal down to beat West Witney 3-1.

Mike Greenall put West ahead, but goals from Darryl Kew (2) and Gordon Kane gave Bampton the points.

In Division 1, champions Stonesfield sent Ducklington Res down with a 4-0 drubbing.

Their scorers were Ben Hayes, John McEarchan, Chris Searle and Marc Jordan.
