A garden make-over and a helicopter ride are among the prizes at a charity auction to fund therapy for disabled children and facilities for mainstream school pupils.

The annual auction, organised by the Friends of Ormerod Special School in Oxford and Marlborough School in Woodstock, benefits both schools.

The schools share a site at Marlborough School in Shipton Road. Most of the pupils, at Ormerod School, based in Waynflete Road, Headington, have cerebral palsy and many are in wheelchairs. Those that are able, join in mainstream activities at the Marlborough School site.

Prizes in the auction include a garden make-over by designer Katherine Shock, fitness studio vouchers, books and a day of golf.

Money raised from the auction will help pay for physiotherapy and speech therapy and ICT equipment.

The auction takes place on Friday, May 16, at 7pm at Marlborough School.
