Parish councillors are to discuss whether the gate on Cane Lane, Grove, should be removed to re-open the lane to through traffic.
Following a public meeting in April, at which the majority of residents were against the plan, the council decided its environmental services committee should debate the issue on May 13, and make a recommendation to the full council.
