Dennis Marriott has enjoyed writing since school.
Now, aged 72, he has published his first novel -- with two more planned.

He first wrote Those People Next Door in the 1970s as a script for TV.
After turning the idea into a novel, he tried unsuccessfully to interest several publishers.
But it has now been accepted by Vanguard Press.
