Teenager Isabel Warburton is much more mobile thanks to a purpose-built electric wheelchair provided by Chipping Norton Lions Club.
Isabel, 16, of Wards Road, Chipping Norton, has physical disabilities.
Chipping Norton Lions donated £750 towards the wheelchair, which she uses at home and as a pupil at Ormerod School, in Headington, Oxford, which is integrated with the Marlborough School, Woodstock.
Last year the club raised more than £2,500 from a golf day for the maternity unit at Chipping Norton Hospital.
This year the golf day -- at Brailes Golf Club, on Friday, September 5 -- will raise money for people with mobility problems in the town.
Mr Guy said: "We aim to raise money for mobility projects, be it electric wheelchairs or helping with the supply of stairlifts."
Mary Newman, Isabel's foster carer, said: "Isabel is delighted with the chair. She needs to be able to change her position."
