Radley's athletes had a successful day at the Middlesex Trophy in Perivale.

The senior ladies' team comfortably retained their title with a convincing victory over Ealing, while there were promising displays from their three other teams.

The junior boys finished third in their match, while the senior men were second overall - just two points behind Thames Valley Harriers.

The junior girls completed a good day for Radley with second place.

George Lewis starred, winning all three of his events in the under 13 competition.

He recorded victory in the 100m in 13.7secs, and followed up with 28.4 in the 200m and 6.29 in the shot.

There was also a personal best for Sam Miller, who clocked 2.42.2 to finish fourth in the 800m.

In the under 15 boys event, Matthew van der Schootbrugge set a personal best in the 800m, while Peter Dutton did likewise in the high jump.

Highlights in the under 15 girls' match came from Lauren Tolmie, who won the 800m in 2.29.5, and Kelly Daly, who threw 21.73m to secure victory in the discus.

There were also personal bests for Stacey Middleton in the long jump (4.67m), and Hannah Willis in the shot (7.92m).
