Frilford Heath teenager John Cronly and Banbury's Gary Boyd have reached the final of the Nick Faldo Junior Series at Brocket Hall, Hertfordshire next Wednesday.
Cronly, 18, and Boyd, 17, will battle it out with 19 other regional winners after he came through three rounds of golf as one of the qualifiers from the South East England group.
Cronly fired a level par 72 at Royal St George's, Sandwich, a two-over-par 75 at Walton Heath and a two-over-par 74 at Brocket Hall to reach the final.
And Cronly is confident of success in the competition, which will be played over two rounds at the Hertfordshire course.
He said: "I am sure I can do well in it. I see no reason why I can't win the tournament.
"It's all on the day, but if I play my best golf, it's possible to win it."
Cronly could also soon be battling it out in South Africa for the Daily Telegraph Junior Golf title.
He shot a 73 in his qualifying round at Frilford Heath, and must now wait until early next month to find out if he has earned a place in the prestigious final at Sun City in October.
