An actress will pass on her skills when she launches drama classes in Bicester.

Tina Thomas moved to the town in March and had been pestered by friends to expand her Beaconsfield acting school.

So she is setting up after-school sessions for children aged four to 11.

Mrs Thomas said: "Children will be taking part in plays, improvisation, vocal and voice work. They will understand how to project their voices and, most importantly, gain in confidence. We have fun and learn at the same time."

Mrs Thomas said that, since moving to the town, she and her husband Mike, and daughters Ella, five, and Jessica, three, had got involved in the local community.

Mrs Thomas added: "We are very settled in Bicester and wanted to give something back to the town."

The classes are due to take place from September 8, at Langford Village Community Centre, off Peregrine Way, and St Mary's School, in Queens Avenue.
