Oxford Silver Machine ace Greg Hancock moved up to fifth in the Grand Prix rankings after just missing out on a final slot in the re-staged Scandinavian GP at the Ullevi Stadium, Gothenburg on Saturday.
He is now just 14 points adrift of new leader Leigh Adams after both Tony Rickardsson and Nicki Pedersen lost ground.
In-form Todd Wiltshire almost made it to the semi-finals after missing practice to ride for Oxford in their massive victory over Poole on Friday. It was his best finish of the season.
